Starting from April 1, Uzbekistan is introducing changes aimed at reducing the use of cash and promoting the development of digital payments.

In this regard, Paynet has implemented a number of solutions aimed at improving user convenience when transitioning to cashless payments.

“To address this task, the company has begun accelerated signing of agency agreements to provide services for topping up Uzcard, Humo, as well as special fuel cards with a fixed 1% commission.”

This will allow users to conveniently top up their cards and make payments on the spot.

“The company notes that this commission applies when topping up directly through operators at fuel stations.”

Paynet also notes that in certain situations, the transition to digital payments may cause inconvenience — for example, when a user does not have a bank card or an e-wallet in a mobile banking or payment app available to pay for fuel.

In such cases, Paynet, acting as a payment aggregator, in cooperation with ATTO, has launched special cards designed for fuel payments. These cards will be rapidly distributed at fuel stations, ensuring their constant availability and accessibility for users. Customers will be able to purchase and activate the card on-site, as well as top it up immediately for further use.

The new solution is aimed at simplifying the transition to digital payments and making fuel payments and card top-ups more accessible, faster, and more convenient for a wide audience.
