Paynet — Key Partner of the Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum 2026

The forum is organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), a non-profit organization established in 2024 with the support of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Around 2,000 participants are expected: regulators, central bank representatives, fintech startups, and investors from Central Asia, the Gulf states, Europe, and Asia.

Paynet's Role

Today, Paynet is one of the leading players in Uzbekistan's payment market, with more than 20 years of history, a network of over 23,000 agent points, 950 terminals, and a payment gateway integrated with 32 banks across the country. As part of its strategy, the company is developing an ecosystem of digital financial services, ranging from payments and transfers to investments and crypto services.

At the forum, Paynet will showcase its current products and services:

Xolis, a platform for self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs, allows users to register their business status remotely in five minutes, automates accounting, fiscalizes transactions without a cash register, and opens a business wallet functionally equivalent to a bank account. The service is currently used by around 200,000 entrepreneurs.

Paynet Gold enables users to buy and sell investment gold directly through the app, with buybacks guaranteed by the Central Bank, while purchased bars can be picked up at gold-dispensing machines available in every city across the country.

International money transfers remain a separate area of focus: Paynet is the only payment system in Uzbekistan offering direct transfers along corridors including South Korea, Russia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and others.

In addition to its existing lineup, Paynet will unveil new projects at the forum for the first time, spanning crypto services, stock investments, and card issuance. The company will share further details directly at the event.

Paynet's status as key partner underscores its role in developing Uzbekistan's payment market and its readiness to build partnerships in financial technology at a platform that brings together leading players in the region's fintech industry.
